Journey Together is the first vocal recording in the "Journey" series to date. My beautiful wife (in every sense)/ life and ministry partner/soul-mate/best friend Tricia and I put together this album of some of our most favorite hymns/worship music we'd experienced to that time. We sought to weave together piano and vocal in a way that we each express what God has put in our hearts, which is (my paraphrase of 1Cor 4:7) the treasure of His Spirit put into ordinary vessels of clay so that the surpassing power -- that work of His Spirit in the heart of the listener that goes way beyond the music, the notes, any natural talent God has given us -- clearly comes from Him and not us! We have decided that we have worked into our worship repertoire almost enough hymns/songs of worship that are new to us to compel us to follow up with another album within the next year or so!
